10U - 18U NCYSA Classic Program
Program Description
The classic program is designed for players who are looking to compete at the highest, most competitive level. Classic level teams compete within NCYSA’s state wide leagues, as well as, participate in local and out of state tournaments. The Classic program stresses individual player development and team development over results. Classic Teams will be selected during tryouts in May/June.
All Classic teams will be coached by Director of Coaching or by qualified USSF/NSCAA/UEFA licensed staff.
All classic players are required to tryout each May for the following season with players placed on teams based on their ability. There maybe more than one team at each age group depending on the number of players, with the Red team being the 1st team, White team being 2nd team.
Ages / Genders
The classic program is open to all 10U - 18U Boys and Girls. Players must attend tryouts in May/June to be placed on a specific team for the following season. Supplemental tryouts may be held in the Spring to add additional players or teams if needed.
Commitment
All classic teams will play in the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association League, as well as competing in State Cup along with 1-2 tournaments per season. Classic Teams will practice twice a week at king soccer complex. Girls Practice Tuesday and Thursdays nights, with Boys practicing Monday and Wednesday nights. Practice time slots vary depending on age and coach commitments and will start either at 6pm, 6.30pm or 7pm.
Classic program is a year round commitment to both the Fall (August - November) and Spring seasons (February - May) for 10U - 14U players. 15U - 18U Girls teams only require a Fall commitment (August - November), with 15U - 18U Boys teams playing in the Spring (February - May) Only, to avoid the High school soccer seasons.
Games will be played over the weekends against other clubs within the state, with the possibility of occasional weeknight games. Travel will very by team and is determined by which division NCYSA place your team in. Teams will be placed in either West or Piedmont Divisions.
Fees/Costs
2 Season (Fall/Spring) Player:
U13 and Up - $425 / yr
U12 and Under - $350
1 Season (Fall or Spring) Player:
U13 and Up - $305
U12 and Under - $268
Fees include club fee, registration and ref and coaching fees. Coaches reserve the right to wave coaching fees if they wish, which will reduce the cost.

Registration
All players wishing to tryout for a classic team must register for tryouts in May/June or Supplemental tryouts throughout the year.
